RED 3006F Disciplinary Literacy

A study of the theory and practice of teaching reading/literacy in the intermediate grades through twelfth grade. The course will detail methods and materials related to learning from reading, expanding student's knowledge and skills in the area of higher order thinking skills, and reading in all content areas. Prerequisites: Admission to the Education Program, RED 3005F. Three semester hours credit.
