PSY 320 Sports Psychology

Designed for students majoring in Allied Health, Psychology, and Education, this course provides an in-depth exploration of the psychological principles and practices that influence athletic performance, motivation, and behavior in sport and exercise settings. Students will study the role that psychological factors play in health and exercise as well as gain an understanding of the psychological impacts of sports and physical activity-from aggression in sport to moral development in sportsmanship. (3 semester hours credit)
