Determining Accommodations

Appropriate documentation of the disability must be provided so that the Executive Vice-President of Academic Affairs can: 1) determine the student’s eligibility for accommodation; and 2) if the student is eligible, determine appropriate academic accommodations.

 

Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the learning needs of the student, the requirements of the learning task, the course standards and essential requirements, and the educational environment.
