5130 Hospitality Marketing and Customer Service

A course that provides a comprehensive and advanced exploration of marketing principles, branding strategies, and customer service excellence within the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry. Students will learn to analyze the hospitality market, develop profitable marketing and brand strategies, and understand the critical role of customer experience in building loyalty for achieving a competitive advantage. This course examines key marketing concepts, the development and management of powerful hospitality brands from both corporate and consumer perspectives, and the strategic implementation of integrated marketing communications. Furthermore, it delves into the nuances of services marketing and management, emphasizing the creation of a customer-centric culture and the effective management of service operations to achieve excellence in guest service.
