MUE 211F Introduction to Music Education
A survey of the major philosophies and trends in music education. The sequencing of music concepts and skills will be explored. The course will provide students with opportunities to observe choral and instrumental music classrooms at both the elementary and secondary levels. Students will be introduced to the MusicK-12 competencies of the state of Florida Department of Education. Three semester hours credit.
