HI 230 Survey of Social Studies
A survey of history, geography, government and civics, and economics. Attention will be given to significant historical figures and events and their influence on history, six elements of geography, the structure and function of American government, The United States Constitution, and the economic principles of scarcity, production, and international trade. Three semester hours credit.
