EDU 3016 The Inclusive Classroom
A study of the teaching of exceptional children in a general education classroom. The course will consist of the characteristics of all exceptionalities, and educational and behavioral adaptations for exceptional children in the general education classroom. Also included will be topics on effective instructional techniques, strategies, and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners. No field experience is required for this course. Prerequisite: Admission to the Education Program or permission from the Dean of the School of Education. Three semester hours credit.
