CO 550 Multicultural Counseling

An overview of personal and professional relationship competencies for working with people in our multicultural, contemporary society. This course addresses the assimilation of cross-cultural knowledge and the formation of attitudes that support the development of multicultural awareness and global understanding, including discussions on gender and racial issues, empowerment of marginalized groups, and interventions with ethnic and lingistic minorities. Three semester hours credit.
